Veggie revelation

The fresh veg from the organic garden eaten at lunch was divine
as was the Elderberry wine.
As a visitor to the centre of alternative technology
I learnt all about plant and roof garden biology.
A great place to spend some time.

An earlier visit to Roger’s field  produces a large cumbersome marrow,
and courgettes, orange and yellow.
Natures true legacy unveiled
as oddly shaped veg are revealed.
An education and revelation that
some supermarket buyer choices can keep our expectation narrow.

This is my response to the Blogging University, Writing 201, Poetry Day 4 challenge – Imperfect, Limerick, Enjambment.
